Journey

Any fans of thatgamecompany's Journey? :) I remember being hesitant to purchase it at first, but after reading quite a bit of reviews and asking a friend about it, I decided to give it a shot. And wow, I definitely was not disappointed. The graphics were amazing, the storyline was captivating, and the music was fantastic. Oh, and something about the cloaked character you play as was just very fascinating. I also took a liking to the flying rugs. I'm not sure why though. It may have been that they were the closest thing you had to a friend in the game besides the other online players.

I've played the demo version of Flower (also a game by thatgamecompany), but it just couldn't beat Journey. Journey was worth every penny spent.

The only thing I'm a bit disappointed by now is that most of the players have already played through the game many times and have achieved the white-cloak status. I really enjoyed helping other players get through the game, whether it was by showing them where to go, where the light orbs were, or avoiding trouble. But since the game has been out for quite some time now, I mostly see white-cloak players. I see red-cloak players too once in a while, but it's so rare.

Anyway, for fans of the game, what's your favorite thing or part of the game? I personally like the ending the most. Everything about it is just so wow! :)

I also have read many reviews and heard nothing but great things about this little title. Yet I am still in that minority that has yet to play it. I need to play catch up.

I never got to play Journey but I also have read some nice reviews of the game. I saw some of the in game videos at YouTube and I was impressed with the graphic style. Do you know where I could get the game for cheap? I'm planning to get the Last of Us too and I'm afraid to exhaust my budget.

Yep, it's a PSN title. I think it's right around $15 online now, so in the right price range for an Indie title, especially a high quality one like this!

There is a demo as well, so I definitely would recommend that whoever hasn't tried it out to give it a shot!

It is a PSN game, but it's also available as PS3 game too bundled with 2 other thatgamecompany games (I think Flow and Flower). But for anyone considering whether to buy Journey or not, I would say it's worth the $14. I really enjoy the gameplay and if you play online, having another player with you along in your journey can be helpful (if you play the role of follower) or give you a sense of purpose (if you play the role of leader). :)

I remembered playing Journey on my Playstation 3 System. It is one of the most inducing games I have played. This game game was remarkable, it really makes you feel the essence of the story. Beautiful graphics!

I wouldn't call it a game, more like an experience. It's really incredible from start to finish, and for those who still didn't finish it, i recommend it greatly. It's not that long, so just drop everything you are doing right now and go try it out, you won't regret it.

I actually have never got the chance to play Journey as of yet, although I have been meaning to whenever I got the chance. I've heard so many great things about the game that I almost feel like I am missing out by having not played it. The game received so much critical acclaim that I definitely have to play the game for myself to see if it really lives up tp all the hype.

I still haven't gotten around to playing it, but it's on my list. I've been wanting to play it since before I got my PS3, and it was actually one of my planned purchases, but some other things came up and I just haven't gotten to it yet. I played the demo, though, and thought it was really cool. The music is especially awesome; totally relaxing experience, if you ask me.
