Okay guys so here it is ImageUploadedByTapatalk1432037250.300656.jpg
I got the collectors edition with the strategy guide. Waiting on the download to finish updating before playing. Will update y'all on a review later.

I played this game for roughly 30 minutes due to feeling exhausted from a strenuous day at work. All I can say is wow......
It reminds me of dragon age inquisition with the luxury of open world dynamics and insane combat statistics at large. I only covered bits of the combat system so I'm not fully aware of the game.
I'll post a review later

Okay, so I've been trying my best to play this game has much has I can and this is what I can tell y'all....
This game is hands down extremely detailed in every way. You get similar dialogue opens like dragon age which tailor your story to your actions and consequences..... Every area has something going on with NPC supplying you with plenty of side quests which give you experience which helps you upgrade your character and abilities.
The combat system is awesome with the mixture of using abilities and witchers sense.......
I've never played any of the witchers but I'm glad I gave this one a shot!

The game uses the same travel methods like dragons age, the character gallops on a horse with the handy cheat to fast travel when reaching certain sign posts. I haven't crafted anything yet but I did visit the craftsman and noticed a lot of customisation. I guess it's to early to give a full in depth review in the weapon customisation but yeah from what I've seen In the tutorial seems pretty cool.
More to come in my review next week.

Dragons age was brilliant and my first game of the type, is W3 similar in that you don't have to spend lots of time making potions etc you can just get on with the game or do you need to be a RPG fan to enjoy this?

Dragon age was also the first game of that type. I've only played the game for a few hours so I can't really say 100%. If you enjoyed inquisition , you'll love this game.

This game is extremely in depth and beautiful in every aspect. I've made the time to digest this game and go through side quests to get the full experience.
All I can say is......
I'm in-love with just about everything.... The story is enticing, the detail to the environments is superb with the ability to fast travel which saves time drastically.
The side quests can be a bit lame but some give the character more story which link you to the main story. If your looking for a game that's worth your every buck, this game is it.

The potions, bombs ( alchemy) are tricky because the ingredients are scattered across the lands, so farming is necessary.
Another annoying thing this is how coin is rare to accumulate so my method is finding animals that drop good coin look like cows which can be sold for $27 ( cow hide) unlike most drops which are worth nothing.
I noticed the best way of getting coin is to do side quests and looking for treasure. This game is definitely a 10/10 hands down.

Just started Witcher 3(I know a bit late) and it is freaking awesome.

I have a question though, is the game so hard or do I suck at it? in all battles I die atleast several times, also I consume most of my food to keep my health. Am I doing it wrong?

I played the game at the second hardest difficulty. My advise will be to do side quests so your character will be at a decent level for main quest bosses and challenges, that helped me a lot and I got through the game at a reasonable pase.

Yeah I actually did that, and now the fights seem more balanced than before. Previously I used to get owned by bunch of wolves.

I am about to finish the story, I miss only to beat Eredin. I accomplished everything was possible to accomplish. I really loved this game and all its characters. And, as always when I reach the end of a game I like, I am desperate [emoticon which pours liters of tears]

:grin :grin :grin

So you finished everything? All the side quests?

Yes I have. Including armor chests, contracts, etc. Now I just roam around because I want to finish also all ?'s. Actually I only miss 3 trophies to get the Platinum (the most annoying ones).

If someone can and want to help me with some tip, these are those I still miss:

Card Collector
Acquire all gwent cards available in the base version of the game.

Master Marksman DONE!
Kill 50 human and nonhuman opponents by striking them in the head with a crossbow bolt.

Overkill DONE!
Make an opponent suffer from bleeding, poisoning and burning simultaneously. Do this 10 times.

Thank's! :grin
