Keyboard + Mouse Support

I know that it's possible to connect a keyboard and mouse to a PS3 and play with them in some games, depending on whether or not developers allow it. Does anyone know what the official stance on keyboard and mouse input for the PS4 is? Will we be seeing many games that will enable this or is it still just way too much of an advantage to allow in multiplayer games?

Well there are USB ports on the PS4 console.. or the controller, either one, but I'm sure you can plug in your mouse or keyboard. However, it's not confirmed that you can actually use your keyboard and mouse on the console. Battlefield 4 devs said mouse and keyboard could work on the console, so that could be something similar to the Vita where only certain games are programmed to work with mouse and keyboard.

I prefer controllers i don't really know how people can prefer keyboard and mouses, its so much easier on controllers than mouse etc anyone think the same?

I'm sure that they would allow a keyboard and mouse to be plugged in on the PS 4. And if not, I'm sure that they would make peripherals that will. However, I'm not thrilled about the possibility. If I want to play with a mouse and keyboard, is simply play on the PC. A controller is fine for me when I'm playing on a home console.

Keyboard and mouse allows better aiming precision than a controller joystick. It's just the truth. Try making small circles with a PS3 controller then try it with a mouse. Which is easier to do it with? A mouse. A joystick has deadzones and forced look acceleration. It's way harder to "flickshot" with a controller than a mouse due to a mouse having no deadzone depending on how big your mousepad is.

I do like using keyboards and mice, however I also agree it's much easier using a controller, especially in the long term. I tend to get hand pains after a few hours using a keyboard and mouse for gaming.
