Killing Floor

I got this game for a holiday or birthday awhile back. I didn't play it very much until tonight. There is a lot of fun to be had and its all part of Steam's summer sale. You can get a lot of DLC for it right now that really adds to the experience. I think I'm definitely going to put another 14 hours or so into achievement hunting for this game. I think there are over 200 to be gotten. Oh be still my heart!

Ah yes, I remember playing Killing Floor. It has been approximately a year since I touched that game, I quit because the game got a bit too repetitive and boring for me. There's not much to do in single player, and only good if you're playing with friends since you have some company, and able to take different positions and kill the zombies. The custom made maps are pretty cool, I'd have to admit.

That is a totally fair argument for that game. If you don't have a group of friends or if you don't like to play Pubs then this game isn't for you. I have a group and I also enjoy pubs for the chaos of it all so its a great game for me. I can also see where its repetitive nature can get old. This game has to be praised for what it is, a hoard mode game done right. You have a diverse amount of weapons, the content is being updated by the devs often and they still do special events and things like that, that are quite fun. You can't argue the simplistic nature of the game. That's what makes it great. Its easy to say "lets have a killing floor night" there's a low barrier of entry for people who have played something like counter strike and with the right people amazing. If with no people then... eh?

I've had the game for quite a while but sadly I've only put like 12 hours into, all of it though has been pretty cool since it's been with my friends. I'll have to agree with you on the fact that it's pretty boring when you're all alone. I can't say that I care for the DLC at all since it just seems to be characters that are just reskins. Hope you enjoy the game though.
