If you do not already own the Kinect, for Xbox 360, I highly suggest you buy it. Unless, you are a lazy gamer, you are sure to have fun playing Kinect games. I am still amazed, that my body is used as the controller. If you need a good laugh, get one of the dancing games and invite friends over.

We went over to a friend's house recently and they had a Kinect and that Dance Central game. It was so much fun dancing along with the game and "competing" against each other. As soon as we got back in the car, I told my husband I wanted a Kinect for Christmas!

We have a Kinect for our Xbox and it's awesome! I like it for the exercise-based games, like that Dance Central that tombraider mentioned earlier, but my husband and kids like it for the more competitive games. It's a great investment because everyone in the family can get something out of it.
We have a Kinect and sometimes we forget about it and don't play with it for a while, but when we do, it is truly brilliant. It is so cool, better than the Playstation Move and Nintendo Wii. There are so many different games to play with and they are all first class. People may initially think it's boring, but when you do start playing it after a while break, you will have a hell of a time.
I only really use Kinect when we have a bunch of people over. For single player it is just a hassle I believe and not worth the trouble, but if you have people over it is a very easy and convenient way to entertain everyone and ensure that everyone is involved. Kinect Sports is the best party game!
