LA Noire: Whore of the Orient

I just recently heard about this game and it looks excellent, they seem to be putting a lot of detail into this, especially with the characters. What do you think it will be like? Heres a video I watched about the advanced facial mapping used in this game. LA Noire - Tech Trailer - YouTube

LA Noire is a fantastic game, but Whore of the Orient is a completely different game, just made by the same team (Team Bondi), but unfortunately a lot of staff were sacked and the game is now on hold till further notice.

The facial mapping/tech behind LA Noire was fantastic. Not sure why nobody else has taken advantage of this tech in other games.

LA Noire had a few flaws but it had some great parts and plenty of potential for the future, too. Hopefully the game does go ahead despite the problems Haze has mentioned because it would be a downright shame to see such an innovative game fall flat while the likes of Madden/COD continue to be churned out in droves.

I really enjoyed the game. Waited and got the GOTY edition, so i managed to experience all the DLC pakcs, and i really liked the game. It wasn't a GTA, but a cool free roaming experience.

Just thought I would share this with those interested in "Whore of the Orient". Leaked gameplay footage has emerged and you can check it out below :)

It looks very laggy and stiff, but I'm sure had more time been given to this game it would of been good. The setting sells it to me.

I really loved LA Noire, it was one of the reasons why I bought my 360 at the time. The game is very different to what's out there, and although it is very linear, it doesn't feel like it. Now the whore of orient doesn't really look like a LA Noire game at all judging from the leaked footage that Haze posted, but it would be very cool to see a spiritual successor to the game. With a different protagonist, set somewhere in Asia, kinda like Sleeping Dogs mixed with LA Noire.
