Problem login in

Hi. When i try to log into psn for the first time on ps4 it just stops at the waiting screen for hours. Is this normal because it never ends. The account is a old ps3 account. Do anyone else have this problem?

Its obviously timed out, this can happen when logging in when your internet connection is down or PSN down.

Sounds like you've got a pretty terrible Internet connection. Reset the router and ensure that your data speeds are decent enough to even get the console online. It's got nothing to do with the age of the account, though. It's probably not even an issue with the console or PSN. What kind of Internet connection are you using? If it's wireless, then try using a wired connection to see if that fixes the problem, if resetting the router doesn't work.
