Mature Games

They might get to run with AO if it's a PC game (even a physical copy). PC enjoys a little more flexibility since it's mainly consoles and games for those that are advertised heavily.

Those would be remakes of the old Mystique games.

To be honest I had probably more than I should at that age.....I started off with age appropriate games (I was under 10 at the time) and then as I got to around 9, I played every game going lol.

Now that I think about it, I only have one. Metal Gear Solid. I got in trouble when I was younger for having it and got it taken away for a few years!

I didn't know MGS1 was M Rated. Always seemed like a Teen game. I'm guessing by today's standards it would be a T-rated game with a pretty mature storyline.

Those would be remakes of the old Mystique games.

There was really nothing subtle about this cover at all.

I wouldn't buy a Mystique game, but for some reason I could see it being better than a lot of the "porn games" out there. Mystique could've returned on Ouya before they said they were implementing their own rating system.

Well I don't know. Given that it would probably be no more than $5.99 I probably could, you know.

I played Nightmare Creatures the other day. For its time it was one of the graphic M-Rated games not named Mortal Kombat. I would've liked a Nightmare Creatures 3 or a reboot for next gen.

I vaguely remember Nightmare Creatures. It didn't last post PS1 so it couldn't have been that memorable.

I don't know how many M-rated games I have specifically, but I know that I have a couple of games such as Parasite Eve. Most of my PS1 games are mainly rated K-T.

Yeah the bulk of the games on PS1 were in the KA-T range. M-Rated games didn't start cropping up regularly until PS2.

Are there any game series you would like to see get the "Mature" touch or that you could see easily making that transition?

The Tomba series is just trippy enough to go into M territory.

I agree with Tomba, it could get kind of a Conker's treatment without getting totally over the top. I also agree with Nightmare Creatures. That series could be rebooted and Sony would have another exclusive in the chamber.
