Maybe I should not have purchased the PS4

Redbox is going to start carrying PS4 games soon and then you can rent them very inexpensively as well. Truthfully though, if you don't want to wait, you should be able to sell the system at a profit this holiday season to someone locally via Craigslist or through Ebay.

I don't know, if you can't really afford to buy some games, you won't have as much fun and utilize the console to the fullest.
Try to buy one game per month, or wait until the prices drop so you can maybe buy two for the price of one new.

I didn't know that someone cannot have enough fun to utilize certain console games to their fullest if at all they can't afford it. What math do you use to know this if i may ask. Since I heard the same from a friend some days back but i didn't give it much thought.

I can get what a lot of people are saying but seriously unless you can get a bunch of games, a PS4 will not be fun. There are only so many free games out there and only so many times you can play them. Get it later when both the games and the console are much cheaper, if the mood strikes you that is.

i wouldnt take it that far. It goes back to the is more better argument. If he finds one game that is always fun for him to play, why does he need a bunch? I really only play one game on my xbox right now. Before that i only played forza, before that i only played bioshock before that the previous forza. I dont juggle games because i choose games which are fun for me.

If he is willing to buy one game at a time he wont have any issues with it.

I decided to keep my ps4

I decided to keep my ps4 and take advantage of the ps network and the free games

This is the problem with gaming systems these days. The games are extremely overpriced and most people can't afford to play all of the games they would have liked to. I recommend that you wait for the games to go on sale and possibly find them cheaper than what they are asking now.

Make use of the free games. I'd love to take it off your hands though if you don't want it :P Seriously though, it's good for media and music too. PS+ is going to get better in January and more PS4 oriented, you should wait it out for that and enjoy Resogun and I forgot the other ps4 game on ps+ but there's another one. They even have DC Universe Online for ps4. That is fun

I agree, that if you cannot purchase any games the console will be less fun. I mean I believe you will be able to get a decent game to keep you entertained soon for a lower price.
