Memorable Cheats In PS1 & PS2

I don't recall using too many cheats from that era anymore, maybe because it wasn't as necessary, or maybe it was just that long ago. Either way, I'm hoping to hear some of your most memorable cheat codes from these consoles. The only one I still remember is for Twisted Metal, I vaguely remember using cheat codes for versus battles, but I'm not entirely sure. How about you guys?

I still remember inputting the loooooong cheat codes in Tomb Raider 3. It was worth it though because it helped me finish the game. Twisted Metal 3 is also memorable for me. The game sucked and I didn't want to play extremely long hours just to see the ending of a character. That's why I used cheat codes instead. And of course, there's the GTA cheat codes. Who hasn't used the GTA cheat codes?

The gameshar was the best but I agree, GTA cheat codes will always own every other game. Grand Theft Auto V cheats take it to another level but also limit some things so not everyone is tempted to use them right away.

The cheat codes for the Twisted Metal series are the most memorable, since you will just have to input certain buttons in order to access secrets such as playing Sweet Tooth as well as invincibility codes. The GTA cheats just didn't do well for me though, especially since I never use said cheats except when using the Action Replay such as infinite health and ammo.

I have a few memorable cheats. GTA 3 Tank cheat was awesome, Tomb Raider II weapons and ammo cheat was great, and the Crash Bandicoot level select cheats stand out in my mind.

The GTA codes are always memorable, I remember buying gaming magazines just to get a hold of the cheat codes. I would tore the cheat pages from the magazine and I would stick it up against the wall next to my TV so that every time the Ballaz are giving me a hard time I would pop out a tank and just obliterate those a-holes out of the face of San Andreas.

There were a lot of cheats available on the PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2. All of the GTA's were loaded with cheat codes like infinite ammo, lower wanted level, raise wanted level, restore health and mostly any other cheat you would want. I still remember a lot of the actual cheat codes today.
