Menu Organization

Is there any way to organize the main menu right now? It's quite annoying to scroll through the icons of every game I've played and find specific things. A simple option to make folders would be nice. I heard this was a major downside to the people who have had the chance to try out PS Now as well.

As far as I know there isn't a way to organize this right now. All the stuff I use seems to be on the left and super easy to find, so this hasn't really bothered me.

As Ridge said, there is now way at this time. Everything you've recently played or used always appear on the left.

I do think it will be inevitable that Sony will release a future update where we'll be able to customise the menu/UI.

And people last gen were so upset/confused by the cross media bar.

That was a legitimate good way to organize stuff.

Yeah. I never had a problem with the PS3's XMB. In my opinion, it was much neater and more organised then the Xbox 360 Dashboard.

I agree. I'm not a fan of the layout, and hope they add a way to organize it.

Anyone know what they use to sort the apps/games? Is it some type of algorithm by what's most often used vs. last used? Or is it just the most recent? I do wish we could organize it ourselves though. And I want to get rid of that blue background too.

It's just last used. If you've played a game 100 times and then play 5 new ones in a row the one you played the most played one will just get pushed back. One thing I give credit for though is not plastering the menus with advertisements like on the Xbox dashboard. That really annoys me.

Based on how mine looks I'm pretty sure it is just most recent. I'm not really 100% sure though..
