The only question is; Will David Hayter be back, even for that brief moment?

STORYLINE:
The year is 1975, the age of détente. The Vietnam conflict is drawing to a close and the world is thawing in the wake of the Cold War. However, as tension among the world's giant superpowers eased, a tiny military force quietly took root in the Caribbean. A new type of military - an army without a nation, or any land to call home.

Lead by an enigmatic man known as Snake," the clandestine group operated in the shadows as elite guns-for-hire, servicing various governments around the world. As their reputation grew, so did their funding and military might. Eventually, rumors began to spread that the group had attained nuclear weapons capability. The alarming prospect of a nuclear-equipped military force existing beyond the confines of the NPT (Nuclear Proliferation Treaty), and without any formal government, prompted demands for immediate nuclear inspection by the IAEA.

At that same time, Snake also received word that Paz, a female spy who had once infiltrated his army's Mother Base was alive and being interrogated at a US Naval base on the southern tip of Cuba. The base housed a prison facility - a black-site that could operate outside the laws of both Cuba and the United States, where extreme forms of interrogation were sanctioned. Upon learning of the situation, Chico, a young volunteer in Snake's army with feelings for Paz, took it upon himself to rescue her.

It wasn't long before Snake received a distress call from Chico revealing that he had also been captured. With few options left, Snake embarks on a covert mission to reclaim both Paz and Chico from Cuba while Mother Base prepares to welcome its nuclear inspection.

Little did Snake know that this decision would set in motion a series of tragic events that would forever change his fate.

I played Metal Gear Online for PS3 but I could not handle the complexity of Metal Gear Solid 4. MGO was fun and unique so I am hoping to God almighty himself that he announces a new MGO and I just hope it's similar to mgo/mgs4. Another cool thing would be to see more story from Ground Zeroes or even MGS5! This is exciting, Hideo is very good at being a big troll and stuff and tickling us with announcements to announcements.

It was fun! You should watch Metal Gear Online machinima (Just search it on youtube) it's hilarious. The game was perfect for making fun videos because the character animations went with your camera view. The maps were fairly large and the graphics were amazing! The only problem was the netcode and glitchers. It was horrible in that department but when you played on Survival, wow, I don't know why only 10k to 50k people played it even though many people did at the beginning, it just died as time went on. It's sad that COD gets millions of players but a genius game like Metal Gear Online did not.

Oh well, I agree with you though, lets see Metal Gear Online 3 for Ground Zeroes/The Phantom Pain!

I don't doubt that there will be an MGO 3 included with MGS V. Though I'm more interested in the game itself. I never got into MGO.

I agree, I did love MGO2 but I am dying to experience the story that takes place between Peace Walker and Metal Gear 1. Remember the old days? Metal Gear Solid for PS1? We saw Big Boss as a big bad villian with no real backstory, no real reason as to why he is the way he is. Now we get to find out how he became Big Boss that we experienced in MGS1.

I'm actually pretty hyped about this. It's on my list of must haves and I gotta say looks pretty cool. I'm not sure what I'm most excited about. Getting a chance to play as original Snake or the idea that David Hayter might make a comeback. I certainly hope he does, the fans really miss him.
