Microsoft: ?no plans? for an Xbox One without Kinect | VG247

Recently, rumors arose that Microsoft was planning on releasing an Xbox One in 2014 that was $100 and came without Kinect but now that appears to not be happening as Microsoft have shut down those rumors. The company has stated that they have in faith in Kinect and what it has to offer to gamers and the $499 price is ideal and exactly right for a system like the Xbox One.

BS. But then again as I've said before MS simply didn't give enough thought overall. As such they have reached the point where they have to select where and when to make their stand. Considering the funds invested in the Kinect 2.0 and such they have to say that the price is correct and the Kinect is perfect. In many ways they did like they did before - they rushed things in order to hold market share when they should have taken their time and really thought about their concept. Sony did and that's why they're just cruising along without a care in the world.
