Mobile Suit Gundam For PS4

But, will it be like Dynasty warriors, that same "a lot of enemies" engine, or will they be building a new one from scratch and making it more towards Gundam specifically? Because i feel that a series as big as this needs it's own engine for some epic gameplay.

I get the feeling like it will be towards Gundam specifically but there no word what type of game it will be. There's a good chance that it'll just be a fighter instead of an original story which is what I'm hoping for. I wouldn't be upset if it was a fighter as long as it had good mechanics but I'm sick of that genre when it comes to anime games.

While I would love for this whole thing to be based off of Gundam Wing, I'll let it go and say that I want this to be a good game based on the series but it doesn't need to focus on one in particular. In fact it would be better if this was it's own idea, with it's own characters. I just don't want another brawler.

Yeah I would agree. I think this would be much more enjoyable if it was just based on the Gundam universe as a whole. There are so many cool Gundams that it would be an injustice to only focus on one series.

All Gundam in and it would be a fighter or a Dynasty Warriors thing. Not that it would be bad or anything (I stopped liking Dynasty Warriors after I caught on to what's going on in DW3...which is odd because I LOVE the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series and it's more the same Koei...sameness).

I don't know what they have planned, but I think it would be cool to go through the different Centuries of the series' timeline in each game.

...meaning After Colony sits on the shelf and make sure the game store's wall doesn't fall or something lol

I just want a way to use the old school models even if their just DLC but I'm not interested in just another fighting game, because we've had to many anime games just settle into that genre. Hopefully this is good, it'll definitely look good on the PS4 but I also want a great story. So if it went original then I'd be happy with that.

Fighting games are a natural fit for anime series, really. Especially modern anime series. You could find some way to make an anime into a fighting game (even Death Note).

I would be down for that. The old Gundam fighting games on the PSX were really fun even if a little flawed.
