More free games coming with Playstation plus for the PS4?

I'm gutted I sold my ps3 now. Only got £100 for it as well

Now I have a ps4 an had to get playstation plus to play online I am very happy with the free games on it. But then I seen the ps3 free games too, bioshock infinite this month which I hadn't played.
I would of joined ages ago if I knew about the free games.

Will there be more free games on the ps4 the next few months?

Yep pretty much. Before the start of each month the details of games available free to download to PS+ members will be announced on the Official Sony Blog.

I've also noticed that there is a thread detailing January's games on the for so no doubt you'll read it here too

They'll have more, the PS4 is still new and will still be new for the next 12-18 months. As more developers make games and learn the console, they'll make more use of the power of the system and the reputation of the system which means they'll probably list their games on PS+ some point in time. Let time show you, I still have a ps3 for this same reason - other than not affording it.

My biggest issue so far with PS+ is that you'll find you'll get like 10 indie games by the end of the year and only two that aren't. I mean we've now had 3 indie games and while I have no objection to indie games they just aren't my style.

The PS4 will most certainly have more free games as time passes. Right now, the PS4 is still fairly young so not many games are available. Give it six months or so for the game library to build up and we'll see a lot more free games for Plus subscribers on the PS4.

I'm guessing we get more indies than anything else is because indie developers are more likely to allow their games to be put up for free on PS+ and at significant discounts at times (especially since they have better relationships with Valve, Sony, and Nintendo).

To answer Dazlight, I'd go with what others have said: there will be more free games throughout the year.

Sony have announced that they'll be working with more Indie companies this year. While I have no objection to Indie games I do find them to be a unique genre and do hope PS+ free games do vary rather than just being Indie games all the time.
