Most Expensive Game

Honestly, the most expensive game I purchased was Grand Theft Auto V for $78.

Yeah, I'm a real cheap-ass when it comes to buying games.

I think the most expensice game I bought was Skyim's Special Edition for $99. I don't know how much it was sold but it's that price when converted. Yup, definitely the most expensive game I've ever bought and I'm sure it will never happen again.

Yeah i paid that much fopr GTA V also but it was well worth the price. I hnoestly do not like to spend that much money, but if i feel the quality of the game is going to be superb, then i will take my chances.

Not sure the most I paid for a PS3 game but I remember paying AUD $108 for the Sega MegaDrive (Genesis) version of the first Mortal Kombat! I got it cheaper as they were asking $120..and I remember seeing Super Streetfighter 2 on Sega and Super Nes for about AUD $160! Crazy, but it was a 24bit cartridge..lol,The biggest in the day I believe.

It was probably GTA V. I wanted it on day 1 release so I went to Game at 8am in the morning. That game could have cost me £60 and I still would have bought it.

Are we counting DLC or just the physical copy of the disk? If we are counting DLC, I'll have to say Mass Effect 2 and 3. Not only did I buy pretty much all the DLC for them but I also bought the Trilogy after I already owned 2 and 3 so I could have the disk for the first game. So.....yeah. Spent a lot of money on that game.

Other than that, I've actually never spent above 60 dollars on a game.

Oh..for DLC then its BF4 premium (for PS4)..I paid AUD $75 for that..and since buying I played for a bit then soon after I stopped..havent played BF4 or Ghosts for over 2 weeks now.

Wow $160! Well I am pretty sure it was a great game that you enjoyed.

I think the most I paid was for Disgaea 4 when it first came out, and then I was gutted because the price dropped really quickly after that. I never know which games are going to become more expensive and which will drop rapidly so I tend to buy a game I really want quickly.

That is what I usually do. I wait for the prices of games to drop before i go out and buy them.

The most expensive PS3 game that I bought was Tales of Xillia. I bought it as a pre-order. I usually don't do things like that because I'm pretty skeptical but there are so few JRPGs now that I usually pick them up immediately. It wasn't that expensive either so I'm pretty ok with the purchase.

GTA V. I bought it on the realease day, it was my first time doing that. No regrets, the game is awesome and I'm still playing it.

DLC is guaranteed to bump a game up in price from its retail price. Like a $60 game can jump into $70-$80+

That's true, DLC will spike the game's price up overall. You can say DLC is separate from the main game, but when you do buy DLC you basically have a pricier game.

Think I have paid about £50 for FIFA on day one (long before sainsbury's and nectar points lol ),, and £50 -54.99 on day one for COD. Don't really bother with COD much now,,well not on day one,,, only games I get on day one are FIFA and Football Manager for which I would pay whatever was required.

But Im a real cheapie when it comes to games,,so many good buys on pre-owned,ebay etc or games you just for whatever reason never got around to. E.G yesterday I picked up for PC Crysis2, Doom (special collection all 3 games) and Dead Space 2 all for £10 out of Game,, ,thats my kind of game buying,,,,but then I am Scottish lol :)

Actually come to think of it I paid £30 for FIFA14 on PS3 and then again when I got the PS4 another £54.99,,,,so guess you could say £84.99 for FIFA14.,, and when I think of the gameplay/bug issues with it this year,,esp online,,,dam can't believe I gave all that to EA this year

I think the most expensive game that I bought had to0 be GTA . I paid about $85 to buy that game and honestly I think that it was worth the money. I enjoyed ever bit of that game from the start to the end. The game was so good that I didn't even want to finish it. When I had reached the level that I had suspected was the last level I literally was heart broken because that game was the first game that I played that I never wanted to end. I only wish that it had more heists though that would have blew me away even further.
