Most Immersive Game You Have Ever Played?

Think back - what game sucked you in the most? What game produced a level of admiration close to obsession? There are a couple of games I have played over the years that I found myself thinking about as I fell asleep, wondering what would happen to X character, or what I should do next. These games are the treasures I keep playing for, as MOST games seem to entertain me for a week at most.

The most immersive titles, for me, include: Baldur's Gate 2 (PC), Fable (Xbox), Dragon Age: Origins (PS3) and Fallout 3 (PS3). The original Halo kept my friend and I awake for the good part of a summer, but I didn't enjoy playing the game quite as much by myself (though it was still great). So far, Skyrim is heading in the same direction. Seriously, I wish I lived in there - dragons and all. What games had you obsessed?

The most immersive game I have ever played is Skyrim, definitely. The setup of the game itself is so addicting - it's so realistic you feel like you are your character! The graphics are amazing as well, making for some great eye candy. The storyline is a masterpiece. The game is so exciting, fun and suspenseful, you do not want to put you controller down. Great job, Bethesda!

Spec Ops: The Line.
The storyline was great, graphics were awesome, and overall the game was really good.

Red Dead Redemption. Played it numerous times over the years and it still baffles me how fantastic it is.

The first Super Mario. I can't even take my hands off the controller because it won't stop until you've lost all your lives. I breathed a sigh of relief when I completed all the levels.
