Moving regions but wanting to sign into same PS5 account

Hi guys I am moving from the UK to Australia and I plan on at some point buying a PS5 over there but I’m nervous that I won’t be able to play any of my digital bought games when I sign into my account over there. As it’s a UK account and UK version of games, being playing in another region. I have pre-orders bought before my move and I need to know if I’ll be able to access them over in this new region or if I’ll have to save an buy everything again.
Can someone help? Has anyone had any experience with this?

You CAN use the PS account in Australia, it's the games that are region locked. This is backwards against Nintendo Switch.

- Switch store is region-free, you're free to purchase games no matter the region.
- PlayStation store is region-free with logins - your account is universal. But, buying games from the store has to be region-locked to that region. Fortunately, Australia's PS store is part of EU.
Since the PlayStation 5 and its games are not region-locked, you can purchase a game in Australia, and run it on a PS5 bought elsewhere. That doesn't mean there aren't logistical concerns to consider. You will likely need to get an adapter plug so that your new console can be plugged into Australian outlets.

Thank you for your help. I’m so glad I started going digital in the last year, and I’ll have access after the move
