Hi all.
Just a little confirmation needed after upgrading from two ps3's to two ps4's and the sharing ability of the latter. For a year or two our family of 4 and a cat have been gaming with great fun times on the ps3's, across multiple games without any restrictions between my 2 children wife and myself. Sony allowed 2 consoles per account to have access in the same household to all digitally downloaded games and playable by all four users 2 at a time at any time. (mostly my son and myself)
Since upgrading to the 2 PS4's I have set my sons console upstairs to be the Primary console, but it seems I cannot add mine as a second to the actual account simply only one of them, which in turn allows him to access the digitally bought items, but now the secondary console can only access anything from my wife's account which is the master, so 3 of us cannot play anything on the secondary.
So yes from what I have learnt, the primary and all users have full access but the secondary only the master account has it, and none of the other users on that console.
Are there no plans to make this 2 systems per account available to households? I hope so, from my research only one ps4 is allowed on an account now, and if I had known this I would have stayed with the PS3.
Anyone confirm the future of multiple console owners as down the drain or not? I sure don't wish to buy a game twice just so I can be this 40 plus something and have a blast with my kids.
Regards BM
