Naughty Dog Reveals The Last of Us DLC

I think a lot of people would agree that The Last of Us is a Game of the Year contender and that a lot of people are fans of Joel and especially Ellie. Well Naughty Dog has announced a new DLC that will focus on our spunky heroine. And I for one am pretty excited about it.

The Last of Us DLC will focus on Ellie and is titled "Left Behind." Arne Myer from PlayStation sets the tone for this single-player DLC. "Joining Ellie on this new adventure is Riley, her best friend and also a mentor of sorts at the military boarding school. Just as The Last of Us focused on the bond between Ellie and Joel, Left Behind explores the bond between Ellie and Riley through a series of events that will forever change both of their lives."

Now this was announced during a special PS4 conference as a bonus for anyone who held out on buying the game until the PS4 release. And of course it's coming to PS3 owners but I can only imagine how good the game will look on the PS4. Also here's a trailer that only makes me more excited to go back to it.

I'm so excited about this. TLoU is one of my favorite games and I love the bit where we got to play with Ellie, which seems to be the focus on this DLC. I usually never buy DLC but this one definitely deserves all my money!

I'm incredibly excited. For me The Last of Us doesn't really lend itself to replay but a new DLC is just what I needed to bring myself back to it. It's interesting that it seems like we'll be spending more time as Ellie but I wonder if their going to bring up what Joel did for her? Or if they never discussed it, I mean what is she doing out on her own if there wasn't a falling out.

Really excited about this.
Last of Us pushed the PS3 to its max. The graphic are amazing, the gameplay is awesome and the story is excellent.
I can't wait to see how the new things that will come with the new DLC will improve the game.

Yeah, I'm just glad to have an excuse to go back to it. The Last of Us is really a one shot deal when it comes to gameplay and story. It's not really something that lends itself to a replay. I've always felt a little bad that I haven't gone back but thankfully this DLC gives me an excuse, especially because we'll be hanging out with Ellie again.
