Need for Speed Rivals installion is SLOW

I just got Need for Speed Rivals digitally. I downloaded the file which only took a few hours. Once I BEAT the tutorial it does A HUGE installation. The need for speed logo is in the back and it's at 9%... and it is going so slow. At this rate it's going to be done in 16 hours... Did anyone else have this or is my ps4 busted?

The servers are probably with lots of downloads at the same time, since the PS3 was recently released.
Just wait, the download will eventually speed up after some time.

It's gonna be pretty slow for a while unfortunately because it's launch. I think it'll probably be that way for the rest of the week until people calm down a bit. I've heard from other PS4 owners that downloads are slow but you guys are all home on the weekend no wonder you're having issues. In a couple of days things will smooth out for the better.

just got this game today digitally, and im having the same problem. Finished the tutorials, and now its installing slow. started at 39% and is only to 44% after 5 minutes.

The installation is very slow, but the game is very rewarding guys. It took me at least 3 hours to finally get into the game. Despite it taking forever, the result was pretty awesome. Racing as a cop seems to me a lot more interesting than playing as a rival. I might try installation on an SSD to see if it boosts install times sometime later on. When you get the game up and running, reply! I want to race some of you guys! Haha.
