News on iphone 6/6+ bending

Has anyone bought the new iphone 6 or iphone 6+?

I heard a news article while listing to a radio station today that said some users are reporting their iphone 6's pending in their pockets so I checked youtube, there are a number of vids there on it now.

Here's one:

So,to anyone that has bought one have you heard of this yet? Perhaps someone you know?
Or are you just sticking to the many android phones available like me? :grin

I had an Iphone when they had just started making Iphones and that was the last one that I have ever had. Now I have had an Android for some time now and I will be honest with you I like the phone but I just do not like how fast the battery goes dead on me and I am thinking that in December that I will get the Iphone 6 just to see how good it will really be.

Well unlike iphone which only Apple can make android is by Google and is open source so many, many manufacturers can make android phones.
So saying android drains battery fast is unfair. Its more likely any particular phone doing it,not android OS itself.
Plus their are many other factors too. Perhaps your wifi and bluetooth are permanently on? This will battery faster as well.

What android phone are you using that you say is causing fast battery drain?

If you sit on any phone you can bend it. I will be buying an iPhone 6 plus when they are not sold out at local stores. I buy unlocked. Both iOS and Android are great devices, Apple works best for me as everything I use for work and home is apple so it just makes sense.

Well, maybe Apple is using cheaper materials for their new iphone. I've got an iphone 4 and you sure as hell would have a very difficult time bending it. They've been known to do that. The first iphone was mostly made of aluminium or something, like the ipods- then they launched the 2nd and 3rd, which were made of mostly plastic. Then they came up with the glass, plastic and metal iphones. So I wouldn't be surprised if they went back to using cheaper materials on their phones.

Why do people still buy iphones when Samsung are far superior?

superior how? This is a Windows vs Mac debate. It comes down to preference. I like how iOS operates. If I bought a Samsung, well it would not work with my ecosystem with Apple and thus be very limited to how I would use it (unless I changed how I do everything else). The best phone is the phone that works best for YOU. For me, I like iOS. I am surprised at how easy the phone bends after seeing more about it, but am not really concerned as it seems once a case is on the phone it does not bend that easily at all.
