Has anyone played this game? It's a beautiful game developed Level-5 and Studio Ghibli, so I just had to play since I'm a huge Studio Ghibli fan. It's kind of a cross between Pokemon and Final Fantasy in some ways - you can 'catch' familiars and level them up, and the battle system is kind of similar to FF as well. The gameplay, story and the graphics were great. I really enjoyed the game!

Yeah, i really enjoyed the quality of polish that the game had. Also the story was really good and the soundtrack was great to go along. The game system was really good too, but i felt that it got repetitive on the 20+ hours mark. Even though, i recommend it to everyone that is a RPG fan or just likes a good story.

Been interested in trying this game as I've heard great things about it. Not really a game I thought I'd be into, but I am curious.

Thanks for reminding me that this game exists! I saw part of a Let's Play by Pewdiepie a few months back, and promised myself that I'd go out and buy the game as soon as my bank account allowed. I've yet to do that, but I'm still so intrigued by the game! It looks like exactly the kind of thing I'd like, I've heard great things, and I love the animation they use! Most importantly, it's backed by Hayao Miyazaki's studio - my absolute favorite animator. If Studio Ghibli is involved, I know it's going to be good!

I've seen gameplay videos of it and it looked amazing. A friend of mine mentioned it and I was interested so I searched up some footage and wanted to buy it.

I have been wanting to play this game. I am a big fan of Studio Ghibli and they make some amazing movies. I've heard some great
things about this game and I hope some day I can play it.

I remembered playing Ni No Kino on PS3 a while back. I think it is the greatest RGM game ever. When there was Crono Trigger and Final Fintatasy 6, 7, and 9. Everything about this game is magical. I think the animation by Studio Ghibli is an amazing storyline. I loved this game!!! :)

This is an amazing JRPG. I don't have it yet but my roommate plays it, he's had 30-40 hours logged into the game and isn't even halfway through it. This is the type of game that I absolutely love, with an amazing and expansive world and tons of sidequests to complete.

I love the game! It's like an interactive anime. Whenever I play it, I feel relaxed and soothed of all the tension that I have. I got this same feeling when I first played Okami for the PlayStation 2. I haven't finished the game yet though. I think it would still take me 20 more hours since I'm completely immersing myself every time I play.

I play this game on my PS3 system. I have always been an RPG game fan since the old ages. Ni Na Kuni has given me the pleasure of the old JRPG games. I love the soundtrack, towns, storyline, and shops. I recommend everyone to play this amazing game. You don't know what you're missing out on!

If anyone is learning Japanese this game is a must buy! Its one of only a handful of games that has full furigana support over every kanji, very playable with only a low level of japanese ability. Not to mention an easy to follow and amazingly touching story with beautiful visuals. Level 5 at its best!

Would you guys recommend this game to someone who is not very familiar of JRPG's? Easy to pick up?

I haven't played the game although I heard it was one of the best games to be released in a long time. Since I'm a big fan of JRPG's I would really like to play it but sadly at the moment I'm unable to. My controller is dead so it wouldn't be much of a point in buying a game that I can't play. Still, as soon as I get a new controller, I will make sure to definitely go out and buy this game. I also heard that there is a possible sequel in the works.

Yup, I would recommend it to anybody. It's easy to pick up and play. My 7 year old niece can play it. That means that almost anybody could pick this game up. The only downside is the graphics. If you don't want your games to be cutesy, you might be turned off by its visuals.

Nah it doesn't turn me off really. I've heard great things about this game and yes, maybe I'm too old to play this type of "cutesy" game, but still :)
