Nintendo hopes to reveal the new Wii U Zelda game soon | Wii U

For those looking forward to see Link in HD on the Wii U, the wait may soon be coming to an end. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has revealed that he has a team working on the next Zelda game now and that he hopes to reveal it in "the not too distant future". Hopefully we hear more soon as I'm sure many gamers are anxious to see Link's next journey, especially in HD.

I hope the new LoZ game is good, because I was not that impressed with Skyward. It didn't look a whole lot better and the motion plus controls were just kind of dumb.
I'd prefer just a well made and good looking new game, where effort was put into it. Also the stamina cirlce in Skyward was really bad and I didn't see a point to it at all. Hopefully they take that out.

Sigh. Do we need a new Zelda game? We've had like 23 Zelda games to this date and we don't need any more. If the Wii U is to be taken seriously we need a new franchise that will revitilise the market. It's time we stop leeching off old IP and create something new. As much as I like Zelda games, I think that this is a terrible idea. Hold your horses for a couple of years and then come back to it at a later date, that way people will be genuinely excited for it.
