No Man's Sky - What do you think?

What'd you guys think after seeing the No Man's Sky trailer? It's not anywhere near to complete but it looks pretty impressive for a 4-man dev team.

It blew my mind at VGX, really it was a stand out announcement next top Telltale making all the games. I love the idea of it, and I really hope that such a small team can pull it off. I'm pretty excited and can't wait to see more during the next year. It's surprising that they could get into VGX though.

Right now it looks promising enough but I'll hold my judgment until I've seen more of it. A lot of games look amazing when they are announced but turn out to be disappointing in the end.

It look really appealing and I like what I heard during their VGX segment but I do have my doubts when it comes to such a small team pulling this off. I'm really hoping for the best,that they'll be able to blow our socks off. We'll have to just wait and see more from them before I'm all in.

It does seem doubtful that these guys could pull off a great game with such few resources. But these guys are pretty passionate about making their games as best they can. One of the dev's sold his house to give them more development time. I think when it's all said and done it'll be a great game. Just look at Minecraft, another great Indie game that was made by one person.

Most Dev's goals: Sell as many copies as possible.

HelloGame's goals: Make great games they can be proud of.

I'M really excited and I really want this to work out because of how much they've sacrificed for this. It's such a small team and it's true that usually projects like this are tackled by much larger companies. I mean the ambition they have is on par with Bungie and the development for Destiny. Do they have a Kickstarter because I'd support them.
