No multiplayer for The Order: 1886

Ready At Dawn co-founder Ru Weerasuriya told German site Play3 that his studio’s PlayStation 4-exclusive actioner The Order: 1886 will not have a multiplayer element, as the developer described the game as a “third-person single player action game.” Which, by the way, will run at 30fps.

I have seen a few stills from this game which look intriguing. But another game with no MP only means a longer/more polished storyline IMO.

I just saw this too just now on IGN, I'm glad that it's going to be another game focusing on SP. I could care less about a multiplayer as long as the game delivers. Kind of let down that it's not going to be 60fps but if it can do a solid 30fps then I can live with that.

I wish they would have done it like Bethesdas' games. I love how most of their games let you go to 3rd or 1st person. Its a nice change up. I cant see the need of all 3rd person cuz im assuming he wont be scaling buildings like AC or Uncharted but i could be wrong

I like the idea of going third person especially if the game has cover mechanics. First person cover mechanics don't work well. Besides, there are too many first person shooters out there, it's nice to get to see our character for a change.

thats true. I guess i just totally spaced out on how good a third person can be like the Last of Us or Mass Effect...
