Not sure if i made the right choice.

Staying on a same system of consecutive generations can get monotonous. Why don't you try PlayStation Now when it is released and play all the Sony legacy titles. That way, you will feel more at home.

What are the sony legacy titles.

Hey everyone. I previously was an Xbox 360 owner. I switched over to ps4 and got it on day 1. I am happy with my ps4 and i haven't really experienced any problems with PlayStation or psn, but i got to thinking and i have kind of been second guessing my self on the choice i made. Im not sure if i should have bought an xbox one instead. Im kind of missing my xbox live friends and all of my real life friends who game either own a 360 or an xbox one. I also kind of miss xbox live as well. Im thinking about buying an xbox one as well as soon as i can afford it. i would just like some other opinions on this matter. especially from ppl who own both consoles. Do you think i made the right choice. any help would be greatly appreciate. thanks
I have both and im depressed that Ps4 launchlineup was horrible. Knack, Killzone resogun indies. Please sony realease more games. My Xboxone im playing so much because it has excellent games and launch plus cool kinect and apps. I agree u should get both if u can. But If no good games come out for ps4 by e2014 I will sell it. Sorry everyone please forgive me.

Yeah the initial launch lineup wasn't great but the games coming out in the next few months are big. March is going to be a great starting point with Watch Dogs coming, and I keep forgetting about Thief which is coming next month. Once we get past this month the real games are coming, that's just the way that the launch goes.

At launch, a lot of people will be questioning their purchase just like you are, whether it is the PS4 or the Xbox One. I think what would be best is if you just wait it out and see how the console develops, trying out some of the exclusives and seeing if this is the console for you. After this, if you aren't really feeling the PS4, I would go ahead and buy the Xbox One. Try that out for awhile and if you like it more, sell the PS4 and use the money to get some games for the One.

This. It's a big purchase, when you spend money like you did on the PS4, you may wonder if you made the right choice. However you did make that choice and now you're wondering if it was the right choice. Since you've already made the decision, I would stick to the console for a few months before making another big purchase as it does sound like you should be trying out the games and buying different ones before dropping another half a grand on a Xbox One (not sure of the price).

Really neither of the launches were good and there's no excellent games to be seen on either at the moment unless we're talking AC4 and Ghosts which are on five consoles and Resogun.

To the OP, I'd say wait a few months before making a definite choice on if you should just get the Xbox One and/or drop your PS4. I'd say the same if someone was conflicted about their Xbox One and were considering the PS4.
