Occulus Rift

I'm starting to wonder, at the rate it's taking I feel like people are starting to give up on the occulus rift. It's been so long so they started working on it and it still costs a fortune. Will there ever be a consumer version? I'm not sure anymore.

The hype has cooled down and the Facebook acquisition has made many leave. There's been no news lately about progress on the Oculus Rift development. Sony's Project Morpheus seems to be taking the stage.

Well, in essence the kickstarters are investors with no say. Which is sad. They put alot of money into that company and then lukey decides that he can just up and sell it to facebook? Kind of bullshit.

It is too bad but that is the way the business cookie crumbles. Its all about the money and in business selfishness is the word of the day.

The development of Occulus rift is still going full blast. Sure a lot of the hype and noise about it has died down, but developers are still working as hard, if not harder, to perfect the technology. It will probably still be a long while till we actually see a version that is a bit more friendlier on our wallets though.
