Only one account at a time?

The Unlosing Ranger

Mighty Strike-Out Slugger
Alright, so I was at a friend's house playing on his PS3 (I don't have one) and I wanted to sign-in into my account, while his account was also signed-in. However, he told me that only one account can be signed-in at a time. Is that true? I'm used to the 360, in which up to 4 accounts can be signed-in (one per controller) so I'm wondering if the PS3 really only allows one account at a time.

Yeah, but if you start up Black Ops 2 for eg,and go split screen a friend can sign into their account that way and rank up themselves. So you can play split screen with your own accounts.
But as far as doing it from the PS3 XMB bar/menu..no.You have to sign out of one account before signing into another.
So yes and no I guess.

Ah, that's a bummer. I guess I noticed in Scott Pilgrim vs The World that you can sort of choose your profile, but the thing is that only the account signed-in via XMB will get achievements and such. Still, thanks for replying and confirming, Oberon.
