Opinions on Black Ops 3

OK guys and gals.
Who bought this years CoD Black Ops 3?
Opinions?

I picked it up.
You know,having played the beta and despite being not sold on it I decided to buy it anyway.
Ive read many people love it,the MP anyway.
I think it's OK and I still prefer it over Ghosts and even though many prefer Blops 3 over AW Im not so sure.
Perhaps I just need a break from CoD,dunno.

Its OK,but I dont think its any better than AW,at least that's my personal view.
Another year another 'same old' Cod? Hmm,I think it's still different enough to AW it's just I dont think it's overly great.
Zombies seems OK if you are into that.

Campaign,well I havent started that yet but many reviews and opinions Ive read are it's terrible to average.

Ill play it some more and see how I go but at the moment Im looking forward to StarWars Battlefront more :Onya

To those that bought Black Ops 3 what do you think so far?

It is fair i think its more about hiding behind stuff i stead of aw where it more run n kill i somewhat prefer aw over blops 3 seems like blops 3 2 shots ur dead

I'm digging the mp, it plays good although some lag in the beginning. I like some of the level designs and they don't feel as cramped as the beta maps.

I played the first two missions with 3 friends and we talked over the story so I can't tell you what exactly is going on but we had fun playing it.

I'll also be buying battlefront, but I'm not expecting it to pull me away from cod. It'll just be a different game to play.

I personally like it better than AW. The boost movement in AW was just too crazy for a COD game. I'm not a big fan of the boost jumping in BO3 either, but at least it's toned way down from AW. I hope next year we go back to a normal modern age or older COD game though. No more of this boost crap.

Yeah,though I liked AW once I got used to the exo I think it's time to perhaps go back to simpler times.
Im still not a fan of Black Ops 3 yet.

A few disappointing things on Black Ops 3:

1. Where is all the clan stuff? Just an option to add clan tag and that's it.
No clan page,no companion app no clan wars,ops etc.
Previous CoD's have expanded on the clan side of things but with Black Ops 3 there is nothing.A little odd.

2. Little disappointed there is no 'dual screen' option for two players. Only split screen.Black Ops 2 on PS3 had it,oh well.

3. No Hardcore Dom.

On the plus side at least it's got Hardcore FFA,I missed that.

They actually added hardcore Dom and kill confirmed yesterday. I never knew the ps3 could do dual screen. How did that work?

I am really surprised about the lack of clan support as well. I'm a part of the Dads of Destiny Clan, and wanted to carry it over to black ops 3.

These games just got boring for me. They look fantastic and all, but it just feels blah. I really like the Modern Warfare for the PS3, some really fun missions with snipping and all that, plus the best co-op was the spec ops in split screen. For me that was way more fun then just running around a map shooting each other.

Well Black Ops 2 had an option in its graphic settings so it must be optimized somehow too,worked quite well.
I did try it with Ghosts and Black Ops 3 on PS4 even though it hasnt got the option in its settings but you just end up with a stretched screen,it's workable if you are desperate but not ideal.
So I think than making the screen fit properly when the add it in the games graphic settings it also must be tweaked in some other way I think to maximize quality for both players.
Would have been good to see how much better it may have looked dual screening on PS4 compared to PS3.

For me that was way more fun then just running around a map shooting each other.

Well isnt that pretty much what all FPS games are in MP?
And arent racing games just going round and round trying pass each other?

See,the idea maybe be simple,but its more than that.
