Ouya releases a weird commercial

So if you don't know what the Ouya is, then it's a budget Android console. It originally started as a kickstarter project and earned over $8.5 million. The final product was a $99 console but as it turned out, you can't really get powerful hardware for $99 and you were stuck with a rather mediocre selection of games. The console hasn't been doing too well after the release and just yesterday they released this monstrosity:

Yes it's pretty much a failed console. So sad.

This commerical is still hilarious to me, but then again I watch Superjail and Squidbillies so my tastes are rather odd. That said they have a large library, but it is a library that most people have either played or which play badly on the unit. Cheap isn't always better, but I do applaud them for trying something new even if it has apparently failed.

I still think it's funny how they still have the faith in putting something like this out and say how their console is pretty good. Come on, the idea was dead on the arrival, the people who backed it up when it was still a kickstart just weren't that smart.

...Hey. Don't be so hard on them - they failed horribly, but it was a great idea and a good Harvard try. I mean it can't be that idiotic or they wouldn't have been able to get 8.5 million. I never believed in it, but I can appreciate the sentiment.

All consoles look like boxes of wires when opened. That said they are just tapping into the Gamer verbiage. If you look at any discussion if someone is going to mention sucking then you can expect to see like C.O.D. mentioned. People associate C.O.D. with suckage and Ouya was just trying to tap into that idea.
