Sony have announced "P.T.", a new horror game coming to the PS4. What's more, the demo is available right now on the PS4!

Why haven't I given this game its own sub-forum? Well, just play the demo until the end and try not to spoil it ;)

Here's the trailer:

Wow, interesting way to reveal something like that... I'm surprised they put the money forward for a tease game.. That's pretty cool..

I've been playing this for the past few hours. Easily the scariest game I've ever played. But I cannot for the life of me finish it as I'm stuck on the very last bit (waiting for the phone to ring - hopefully you guys know what I mean)

So it turns out the game is going to be a new Silent Hill game being co-created by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro and stars Norman Reedus. Sounds so awesome to see such a collaboration. This game is going to be awesome.

Amazing collaboration and stellar staff. Can't wait to see the development of the game as it goes along. Love how they announced this, kinda flew by in the conference no one batting an eye but then the hype starts as people start to play it. Silent Hill's been shit for years now so hopefully this turns out good. Been watching twitch streams and people are getting frustrated because they can't beat it haha.

I couldn't beat it either. I spent around 6 hours on it yesterday, 4 of those hours on the last part trying to finish it. Gave up in the end lol.

I played myself yesterday and it's indeed the most scary game I've ever played. Well, it's not a game but wow. The house looks so real, I thought they used real life background at first. Anyway, I too didn't finish the game because I couldn't figure out what I have to do. I'm tempted to look at completion videos now to see how it ends.

I'll admit it was freaky, and I get why people are excited. But Jesus that was a shit experience gameplay wise..

I can't figure out how to get any farther but damn, that's some spooky shit.
I want to finish it but don't want to spoil it lookin up how to do it.

That bathroom scared the crap out of me. I wish they were a little more clear about the controls. Having to fumble around around trying to figure out if you can do anything with buttons kind of took me out of the game at certain points.

I agree on all counts.
Freaky,eerie yes.As intended.
And yeah, was a little crap to play too..lol. I also dont like that movement style.

I think I 'almost' got to the end.

Found the 6 bits of photo or painting, kept looping, was midnight, hear baby crying a few times but no phone call..

(yes,I googled for help on how to get through this thing...:o )

I have to say that I get much more scared in games when you're allowed to at least TRY to defend yourself. When there's no option to even pick up a gun or knife, or even a candlestick to defend yourself, it takes a lot of the danger out of the game for me. I may not be able to shoot or harm whatever danger is lurking around the corner, but it feels much more visceral if I'm allowed to THINK maybe I can.

I remember the Hospital in Bioshock, I'd sometimes empty half a clip at nothing I got so scared.

That part where you see the ghost down the hall and the lights go out... I went forward because I knew you were supposed to. I WOULD NEVER EVER DO THAT IF I FELT LIKE I COULD BE HARMED OR COULD DO HARM! I would have shot every bullet down that hallway, then started throwing frames, furniture then fled and clawed at the door behind me.
