Planning Ahead To Buy PS4

Have you planned ahead in terms of purchasing the PS4? I have definitley planned ahead. All of the retail stores are going to be insane with customers when this console comes out.

I think it's a bit silly and fanboyish to go buy a console on the first day just because it's the first day. Let the lemmings go buy all the defective ones fresh off the assembly line (remember the xbox 360 red ring of death??) then grab deals whenever they go on sale.

I really enjoy the way you think! I preordered one however but I'm deciding if I really want it day one or not. I preodered the new Xbox One as well. I'm kind of spoiled though so I;m thinking I'm going to spoil myself and get em both anyway! I don't know yet though but I have the option!

Yes I am also now saving so that I can buy PS4, I think in about a month I would end up with saving and then finally buy PS4 console for myself, I currently have a PSP and a PS2 but I want to try PS4 now.
I just hope that I have nice experience with PS4 when I woud finally buy it.

I'm not buying a PS4, but my friend is, and hanging out at his house at launch is as far as my plan goes. I'd love to be there when the machine arrives or when he picks it up, to be honest, so I'm hoping I could have a day off work then, and I've been slowly working towards that, finishing all that I have to do weeks in advance.

You know this is a great idea. I have been really excited for the release of the console, but it might be better to wait ot out. I think i might wait for the price to come down before i try to buy it.

I always pre-order new game hardware. I skip the midnight launch and the ruckus that transpires on day one, but will usually pick it up on the 2nd day and most of the time there is almost no waiting line.
