Planning on getting an Xbox One?

Personally I wouldn't pick up an Xbox One until it was the same price as the 3. I don't really care for an all in one entertainment system. I'm a gamer and thus the PS4 appealed to me as it focuses purely on the gaming and has a nice variety of side features.

I'm glad though that both sides are working together to create an awesome forum community.

Thank you Frantic. I have been a 360 user for about 5 years and never owned a PS4. But after all the rave reviews PS4 has been getting and the Ones bad PR, I have been considering jumping ship. Now all the cool people on this forum are only reassuring me that the PS4 is the way to go.

To me, it seems like a more "mature" gaming experience is to be had on the PS4 compared to the 360. I don't have an XBOne (yet) so I can't say how it is on that.

Hello again everyone, I know its been a while since i've posted. Been traveling the great lengths of Australia on my bike. I bought myself a Xbone, I like it so far but a lack of games that appeal to me has left it sitting unused most of the time. How's everyone been? swell I hope!

I own both and am very fortunate because I think they both offer great and unique experiences. The real problem I have is deciding where to buy each game lol. I will be getting MGS on PS4 since it feels like that's where it truly belongs.

I did read that, but I was referring more to the fact I've always played MGS games on a Sony console. Also I was not a huge fan of Metal Gear Rising so I prefer the PS4 preorder mission more

I'm a Playstation lover.But since last Year on Christmas my Brother bought me a Xbox One.Of course,cause he is a Xbox lover.So i got the Xbox on Christmas and was sceptical.I not really like the design and the headset that came with it.And not to forget the Microsoft problems. The Membership is 60$ a Year,no free Games,nothing.At least they could throw you some free Netflix and the Kinect not even recognize for Voice when there is background noise.So my opinion,i would never by myself a xbox one!

I bought an XBox One for $350. I hate it. I want to sell it and all of the equipment I bought for it to get a PS4. I've been from Sony for too long. It's time for me to come home.

I am planning to get one really soon not right now though as I am waiting for a price drop and I am getting married this year and all of my finances are going into getting one. When I got to get my PS4 I think that I will get an Xbox one as well. By the way XBox one forum is greeaaaaatttt!

My brother actually just got an Xbox one, I have the PS4. I am glad we both got a different gaming system because it allows us to compare them against each other. Honestly I can't make a decision as to which one is better, they are both great in their own way!

Yeah I'm planning on getting one when the price drops to around 400. I chose to get my PS4 first because it is a more gaming centered console, but XboxOne will definitely be the thing I watch my favorite T.V. shows and movies on.

Not to sound like a smart ass but I have a TV with its own tuner for that ,as well as blu ray player/DVD player for movies. Im sure most do.
