Playstation exclusive content for Black Flag

Ubisoft have confirmed exactly what we can expect with the recently announced 1 hour of Playstation exclusive content that will arrive with Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

If you have played the PS Vita exclusive Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, then you will remember playing as Aveline de Grandpré - the female protagonist of the game. Well, on both the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 we will be getting three bonus missions starring Aveline!

Here is what the Lead writer Darby McDevitt had to say:

"It's a ways forward so Aveline is a bit older. It's not directly related to the end of her story. If Assassin's Creed IV is like a novel, Aveline's missions are like a short story."

"The present-day is set in Abstergo Entertainment - which is this fun, hip company to work for... at first. You are able to access the Aveline stuff because your co-workers are working on retrieving different genetic memories from all kinds of different people."

This is good news that we get to see Aveline again. But to be honest, in terms of this being exclusive it wasn't surprising. The AC games usually get something exclusive. But this particular exclusive is expected because it ties in from the PS Vita's game.

Now I am unsure as to what system I should pre-order this game for. Candidly peaking, I was looking forward to playing it on my PC, but I guess I will go with PS4 version now. The content is too good to miss out on.
