Playstation News and Rumors vs Playstation 4 forums

The 2 forums 'Playstation News and Rumours' and 'Playstation 4' are a little similar and I notice similar topics in each.
I think the difference should be made clearer to stop similar topics being started in both,or perhaps rename one,or even move all topics into the other and remove one.

Yeah, they are pretty similar, but they bring and offer a lot of topics and potential questions. The PS4 sub-forum is for general talk such as - will you buy the ps4 on launch date, what games will you get for the ps4, what are your experiences, etc while the news & rumors section is what it states. Once the PS4 comes out, I'm sure there will be more topics on the PS4 section.

Pretty much this. The Playstation 4 forums is for general discussion about the console. Playstation News and Rumours is just that - the latest news and rumours about anything Playstation.

Yeah I get it guys..but my point is its not stopping same topics being started in both forums..and that gets annoying,for eg which topic to reply too..cause of same topics in both.

Granted the the first link incorporates a few more subjects but the thing is they are in diff forums when either could be in the other or in the same forum.

I also recall one about PS3 headsets on PS4 too..havent checked for links yet though and Im sure there would be others.
I dont wanna be anal about it all but surely 1 forum would suffice or perhaps a rename of one of them,dunno.

Yeah a stupid mistake by me (deleting the original) but I've closed the other thread mainly because the other thread "Party chat, up to 2000 friends, Q&A on the PS4" was in its correct section.

As for the confusion between the two sections, if enough members voice their opinion then we certainly look into it.

To be fair, I submitted my thread to News and the timelimit kept it from appearing right away so the other one was submitted, but was rejected due to the other thread being better. Dunno why it wasn't deleted right away but meh
