PlayStation store taking forever to show on homescreen

Hey guys. I've noticed when I try open the PlayStation store, it takes ages to open, at times it just stays on this screen
Then I have to hit he cancel button then try again to open it. But still nothing. So I switch my PlayStation 4 off then on again then it helps. Any reason why this is happening? Anyone else have this issue?

yep i have this all the time too fella. About 50% of the time when i try to log into the store i get this.

Have the same issue and I'd say 50% of the time is pretty accurate. My PS4 is also plugged into the modem and half the time it doesn't even connect to the internet when I turn it on. I was having the exact same issues with my 360 before and it's disappointing to have them still in the new generation. I keep expecting every new update to address it but not yet...

I've dealt with the same issue, although I'd say that it's happened less than your experiences. I'd say I have about one in five odds it'll stall at that same exact screen. It's hit and miss, but it's super annoying when it does happen. I haven't found a fix yet, and I'm assuming it's a software issue above all else. They'll probably patch it soon enough. I doubt that everyone is experiencing this issue, or they would have fixed it a long time ago.

It still happens there and then. But it's improved on its own.

I think the store is just crap to be honest. It doesn't happen on my PS4 but I booted up my PS3 the other day to see download a demo and it took like 4 minutes to load on. Was also quite slow when in the store, maybe that's just because my PS3 is basically dead but who knows.
