Pokemon Black and White had sold 1.16 million preorders, but this is 2 months before the actual release! It seems that the 3DS is really doing better than ever and there are some very high hopes for the new Pokemon game. I personally intend to buy it, but I don't think I will be preordering it, or at least not yet. Pokemon games have always been a huge hit in Japan but it really looks like the 3DS is coming into its own in the west too which is very exciting news. Anyone here going to preorder it?

I found out about the game only recently. I think I'm going to get a 3DS sometime down the line now, and partly for this game. I also want to get OoT 3D, Fire Emblem, and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. If there's another price drop in half a year or so, I'll definitely snag one.

Its quite mad to think a game like pokemon can basically reach so much!, its really good to see graphics doesn't matter and gameplay is most focused on in pokemon games.

Those numbers are quite surprising. I'm amazed so many people still keep up and play Pokemon. I honestly got tired of the new Pokemon that came out and it eventually led me to stray away from Pokemon in general. The previous games were great, but i'm guessing with the upcoming games the graphics/features will be even better.

Wow, I know Pokemon still had a lot of popularity, but that is beyond absurd. I guess a whole new generation of children are just discovering the pocket monster phenomenon. Do they still make the show?

Am i the only one who isn't impressed by the numbers? Didn't the first Pokemon games reached over 3 million copies sold?
Which makes me wonder, is it even possible for Pokemon to ever die out?
