Problems playing Killzone: Shadow Fall on PS4

Hello.

I received my PlayStation 4 on Friday and was quite pleasantly surprised to see (initially) that there was little to no apparent problem with the console at all.

I had a bundle pack which included two games: Fifa 14 and Killzone: Shadow Fall. I played on Fifa 14 Friday night, and again a little during Saturday morning. It works 'a treat' and I am pretty pleased with it.
However, now the problems begin it seems...

Last night I decided to try out Killzone: Shadow Play. I inserted the disc. Then, the disc inside begins to make 'funny noises' and the game 'keeps freezing'. The funny thing is, the game works in a sense. I mean, I can see the game, and I am playing the game sporadically. But the disc inside the console does keep making those noises. And it freezes a lot. And the audio (voices) are not working correctly.

So I have Fifa 14 which works brilliantly (so far) and I have Killzone which doesn't really work as it should.

Any suggestions or general advice would be hugely helpful. Thanks everyone.

Have you updated to the latest firmware for the PS4 and Killzone?

How do you update to the latest firmware?

When you turn on your PS4 and connect to the internet it will tell you if there is newer firmware.
Same when you launch a game,if there is a patch for it then it will ask you to download it.

Or it will download them automatically depending on your settings.

Or go check manually go to settings/System Software Update.

I was able to download a new update for PS 4 but the Killzone disc never completely downloads before it shuts off my PS 4 and/or a warning message comes on saying this game is corrupt so I never get to the spot where I can download any new updates for the game itself. This is the second disc that has done this. Is there a way to download any game updates before you actually get the game to download?

Try to delete the save data + game data if you can and restart your PS4. OR you may have to format your ps4 if everything else fails. Sorry you're experiencing that, I'd be pissed if that happened to me.

Finally got the game to work long enough to have the PS4 tell me there was an update to download. Once I was able to download the update it took care of the corrupt message and seems to be working fine now.
we will see if it last through each level.
