"Sony has revealed the six games slated for September's PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection Update, including two new titles.

Shoot-em-up/platformer Velocity 2X for PS4 and PS Vita and Joe Danger for PS Vita will release free for PS Plus subscribers on September 2 in North America and September 3 in Europe."

"Local multiplayer compilation Sportsfriends for PS3 and PS4, cross-franchise brawler PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale for PS3 and PS Vita, medieval multiplayer strategy title Hoard for PS3, and Tempest-inspired vector shooter TxK for PS Vita will also join the Instant Game Collection in September."

Not amazing this month but I do have a soft spot for ASBR.

Been playing a lot of fast-paced ass-clenching games lately(Towerfall, Hotline Miami, Strider, Wolfenstein to some extent..), looks like that's not ending anytime soon with the free PS+ titles. There seems to be a lot of focus on 2D platformers with 'old-school' graphics which I'm okay with as long as the games are quality, but it will be a nice change when Driveclub etc comes out.

Yeah it will take some time before we progress from indie 2D games to more AAA games for PS4 but it isn't that bad at the moment.

I personally wasn't that impressed, none of the titles on any platform this month are appealing to me.

The PS4 titles are basically another 2D side scroller that while is fun, I feel we've had too many of them since PS+ launch and I am therefore wishing we could get something a little different.

Meh, another month, another round of indies. I don't mind it. Destiny is dropping soon anyway and I think the vast majority of PS4 users will be knee deep into that. We also have some other titles like FIFA coming out. Anyone here played the PS+ titles for PS4 before?

None of this will pull me away from Destiny and the new Persona Arena... Can't complain though. I'll download all of these and maybe get to them at some point.

I was probably going to buy Velocity 2X, as such I am incredibly happy that it is free. I do not suspect I will go out of my way to play it now, given what is coming out in September, but we shall see.
