PS3 Fat 80Gb Backwards Compatible

Mine has only been turned on for about a minute and a half, it has firmware 1.10 and is watercooled (Well half watercooled).
Lost interest in the project when I realized my screws were too long. I should really finish it up.

Edit: Just noticed your title say's 80GB. Mine is the 60GB CECHA01.

I know the 60GB model is backwards compatible with most PS2 games. Is that what you meant?
I dont think there was a 80GB backwards compatible model.
I have one of the 80GB Fat models and it defo doesnt play PS2 discs.

Well the 1st one to be backwards compatible was the 80 bg fat and then they release
a 60 gb backwards compatible.

I have the 80 GB and play metal slug for PS2 all the time.

I have the bundle that came with metal gear.

Actually the first to be backwards compatible was the CECHA01 (60GB, card reader & Wifi) and the CECHB01 (20GB, did not have a card reader or Wifi) in November of 2006 and actually had extra hardware (A PS2 inside of the PS3) to play PS2 games.
The model that you have is the CECHE01 (80GB, card reader & Wifi), that model was released in August of 2007 and only emulated PS2 games through software.

Edit/Update: Only the CECHA01, CECHB01 and CECHE01 were backwards compatible, making yours the last, not the first.
