PS3 games that you think will be remade for the PS4?

I was thinking about this and couldn't really come up with an answer, but it feels like it's inevitable. If I had to pick something, it would probably be a Call of Duty HD collection. Thoughts?

I did see a video on youtube a while back talking of a rumour of Call of Duty Modern Warfare HD for PS4. Again,rumour,dunno if this will happen though.

Every good answer I can think of would be better served as a sequel instead of a re-introduction. Like Heavy Rain, or the Last of Us, my two all time favorite Sony games. I think Heavy Rain would especially benefit from an upgrade, but then again I would rather just see a new version.

I personally can't really see the PS4 getting any remakes at this time but maybe later on they might put some of the older titles on PS4. It really would not make much sense to do anything in the past two years I think.

I don't think it will ever happen. Maybe PS3 remakes for the PS5, but the PS4 has almost the same graphic capabilities as the PS3 at the top of it's game, so they won't bother remaking something so soon.

I agree with Black Solaris, I don't think we'll see many remakes being done, rather reintroductions to franchises. There's nothing really revolutionary in regard to the graphical capabilities of the PS4, unless you wanted to see games made in 60 FPS, but that would honestly wouldn't look too good for a lot of games. I do forsee, or at least I'm hoping for another Crash Bandicoot game. I miss those old titles that were just fun and cooky to play. I'm kind of over playing these ultra-realistic survival shooters, etc, etc. I don't want anymore space wars, or regular wars, I just want dumb fun.

They won't be making remakes as it would be exactly the same game with 'slightly' better graphics. If I had to pick one game though I would pick Red Dead Redemption: Game of the year edition, as it includes both the games. I love that game so I think it would be fun to play on the PS4 now and again.

Single player games might see a port, but older multiplayer-focused games wouldn't have much of a point.

I'd love to see a full Metal Gear Solid HD Collection that includes Metal Gear Solid 1. I know it would be a ton of work but it would totally be worth it to play that first game in glorious HD again.

Well, they already have an almost complete HD collection for PS3. I guess, when more Metal Gear games start hitting, we might see another collection on PS4.

The Last of Us should get one. Great game held down by the technological limitations of the PlayStation 3. I would love to see it with improved graphics.

I'd like to see the whole Mass Effect trilogy get remade for the PS4. I found the PS3 versions to be somewhat buggy at times and detracted from the gaming experience as a whole for me. I would definitely buy the box set with the upgraded framerate and graphics. And I would actually complete all the different endings this time.

Hopefully GTA V. I mean I was hoping to get it for the PS4 and now I am hearing that the game might not even be for the PS4 which is a little disappointing and it seems to be bad timing for me, at least.

I haven't tried out GTA V on PS3 yet, but I do suspect that if they ever were going to remake anything from PS3 to the PS4, then this would be a game they would do it on. I know that they have made remakes of a lot of their games in the past, porting them from console to console and upgrading the old one into a widescreen version, so I think if it were to be done, then GTA V would be one of the least far fetched titles to do it with.

I think the God Of War series will be remade for PS4. God Of War is one of the best games to ever be released for the Playstation. I think there is without a doubt, that Playstation will remake God Of War.

I don't see why not. This could be a potential chance for companies to make even more money. I'm sure some best-seller games will probably see a remake for the PS4. I would especially like The Last of Us to be remade as well. That would be downright amazing.
