PS4 Advanced Warfare Blocks Share Play

Not sure if this is the right place or should be under CoD subforum...

It seems Activision is blocking the share play feature on their CoD games. This is contradictory to what Sony said earlier.
Read the story below:

"he PlayStation 4 edition of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare blocks Share Play functionality, GameSpot can confirm.

Internal tests at GameSpot show that Activision has marked all gameplay footage as censored, which does not affect the owner's console, but ensures that gameplay cannot be streamed to another user.

Activision's block on Share Play functionality comes little more than a week after Sony claimed the feature would work on all games. It marks the latest setback for Sony, following weeks of major network and update problems."

The bad thing is, with this move, other publishers can follow and basically the whole shareplay thing will be dead and obsolete.

Yeah pretty much this. I have a feeling more companies will follow this with AAA games. I can see this happening with upcoming games like Assassin's Creed Unity and Far Cry 4. I hope so much that I'm wrong though.

I hope what they are saying is true and they allow share play later on. but I highly doubt... later they might come up with another statement that the experience was not suitable for CoD or something like that so they wont implement it...

not that I care about share play I will probably never use the feature, I just dont like it when companies remove features which should be there.
