PS4 and Online gameing newbei - PS Plus and PSN confusion

Hi All, my family is new to all this. I need your help to understand.
My situation - Australian living in Japan. Bought a Japanese PS4 and have bought Star wars software (Disc) US version on amazon.
Set upon the PS4 for English but find that the kids and I really need PS Plus to play online.

Questions:
1. I want to play games in English - if I get a Japan PS Plus will the games be in English of Japanese?
2. If I have a Japanese PS Plus but my machine is set to English will I still have to deal with the store and everything being in Japanese?
3. If I set up an account for Australia can I play games and DLCs on my Japanese PS4 in Japan?
4. My understanding from reading the forums etc. is that there are going to be problems with living in Japan and buying US game on amazon as I have and then trying to get online gaming in English.

5. I don't know anything about it. What is the best way to live in Japan and play games and get DLCs in English and have things in English so I can understand. I have some Japanese but trying to play in Japanese is not fun for me at all. I was thinking of buying US games on Amazon.

Oh poop I missed this. I'm not 100% sure on this but I'll give it a crack

1) PS Plus is the paid online service. I'm going to assume if you buy a game in Japan with a Japanese PS Plus, it'll likely be in Japanese. This would be because you are buying the game online in a Japanese region. But most big games you can switch the language.
2) Most likely yes. Again, you are in the Japanese region so the store will be in Japanese. I don't know if there is a language setting for that. I've never checked because me being an American, I don't need to speak another language
3) You should but online features will probably not work. DLC is tied to a region so you will need that particular regions core game for it to work. As far as I know, if I buy Battlefront in America, and then go to England and download the DLC, I don't believe it will work because my version of Battlefront is tied to America but the DLC is tied to Europe. But if you are in Japan and buy an American or Australian game on disc, it will play. But the DLC is region specific.
4) As far as I know, yes. That is correct.
