PS4 and PS Store digital games question...can someone explain?

Hi!
I am an American living in Italy. My PS4 (and my hard copy games) are Italian/European versions. My Play Station Store Account HOWEVER, is American because that is where I wanted to have my billing and bank info.

Until now, it did not matter because I play my games and sign into PSN, etc. with no problems. With the upcoming release of Fallout 4, THOUGH, my situation has changed. I want to Pre Order a Fallout 4 digital copy.

Does anyone know if I have to change my PS 4 store from US store to a European one? Or does the game that I buy and download from PS Store automatically default to the correct region?

Thanks!

Your account and PSN store etc is where you set it up,so if you set it up for USA then it will sign into USA PSN store.
If you want to access any European PSN store you will have to sign up for another account.
Keep in mind though that DLC is usually region dependant.
So if you have a US copy of game, you will need to download DLC from US PSN store.

added: You said your account is US,but you have european games,Im sure you never downloaded DLC from US store that worked on your euro games right?

Oberon, Thanks.

No, I have not downloaded ANY content games or DLC from PS Store. The sole exception is my 1 year PlayStation Plus account that I bought through US store. I had no problems using that Plus account when playing the hard copy game of GTA Online and that is a Euro region disc.

It sounds, though, that if I want to order Fallout 4 Digital version that I MUST do that via a European Region store, preferably for Italy (since that is where I am). Is that right?

If that is the case, do you know if I can open a second account with same console? Is it that simple?

Anything else I should know about having multiple accounts? Any players with accounts in two or more countries would be very welcome to chime in! :)

You can buy it from any store if you have an account from whatever country,or same country.
Just note that DLC must be from same region as the game.
So for eg DLC bought from US wont work on a European game.

Sure, you can, many of us have multiple accounts.Me too,Im in AUS but I also made up a US account, mainly just for downloading any demo's that are not on my AUS PSN store.(just made a up a US address)
You'll need to go through account set up process, name, address etc.
If you are buying DLC from a diff country PSN store you can always buy PSN pre paid cards from ebay etc rather than use any credit card etc payment details.
