What are yall thoughts on the actual design of the console? What about the flat black combined with the shinny?

I think it looks good, though I've heard some complaints about the shiny finish and the fact that people think it may get scratched up easily. What do you think?

The only thing I question is why there are 3 points of contact (rubber pads) on the bottom rather then 4.

I like the look but agree that it seems like scratches would show easily.

Never even noticed that.

I love it, it's look is future proof. I do wish that there are more vents though. More airflow is always the better for such a powerhouse. Minor grip with the USB positions, some thicker USBs I have are a bit hard to plug in.

I like the design. It should've been flat with the PS3, really. Doesn't take up much room or anything. It didn't before, but this time it's guaranteed not to. Standard black PS finish is standard, nothing to see there.

I like it, It's simple but pretty and it fits on any living room.
Definitely an improvement from the older console. Also, there's probably going to be another version of it in the future!

I like it but I still put a decorative skull skin on it and my controllers.

Aesthetically, I think that it looks a bit too hefty for a Sony design, but it does give that feeling of intimidating powerful hardware. It's a pretty winning design in my book.
