Hey everyone,
So I managed to grab a PS4 on Sunday, and after getting home with much excitement, I set it all up, and this is the sound I was greeted by when running any disks. (Just registered here and it wont let me link the youtube video I have of it running and making the noise
)
I know this is not what it's meant to sound like, and even people posting videos on their loud PS4's have nothing with the sound this things pumping out. The console makes this noise no matter what way the system is sitting (on its side, or flat)
Has anyone else had this issue? It still runs disks fine, but A) That noise is not normal, and B) I'm too scared to run any games or play any Blu-rays in the chance that the noise is a underlying problem that will either damage my disks or brick my system.
I called SONY yesterday, but instead of a straight console swap, it has to go in for assessment/repair. Was just wondering if anyone had the same problem and wether their console got sorted by SONY?
