Anyone hear any news of God Of War on the ps4? I can't imagine how this would be. I know we will eventually get one, just wondering how long I will have to wait.

Unfortunately, no. But it would be awesome, I loved all the God of War games and it's definitely a great exclusive for Playstation, so I'm sure there will be one!

Haven't heard anything yet. But I would love for us to get a break from God of War until they refresh the series a bit. I'm sick of Kratos' pity party. We get it, your family died, the God's wronged you does he have to continue being a giant douche? Dude get over it.

LOL. Yeah I guess your right. Seems like we will have enough quality games that I could wait if it meant an updated, newer direction in the series.

No, not yet but you can be sure that there is going to be a new God of War game on PS4. It's a no brainer, maybe not 2014 since there are other exclusives. My best bet would be a new one will be announced next E3 and if we're lucky it might get released in first quarter 2015.

It's only a matter of time before we get on the Kratos pity train again. I agree with baracksyndel, I can't stand Kratos. The first game was pretty cool and I enjoyed the second game but Kratos needs to get over it. We get it you're angry. The Gods killed your family and screwed you over, do you have to be such a jerk. Get some therapy and move on.

I loved GOW 3 but there honestly is no where to go with this game after GOW, 3, the ports from the PS Vita, and GOW 4. I will say it will be a while and the enemies would have to be over the top as GOW 3 pretty much used up everything. You know they are dying to make the Kratos Orgy scene foor the PS4!

I can see GOW 4 coming for PS4 maybe in 2015 or 2016 and announced at E3 prior (obviously).

I'm honestly ready to be done with Kratos but I'm sure that they'll have to come out with another one. I just don't know what they could do though. Hasn't Kratos killed every single God in that universe? What's next God of War Hindu version?

It'll come, eventually. They'll probably try to make a new game to promote the new console and to give it a few more exclusives. I'm tired of GoD honestly, but who knows, they might do something awesome for the PS4.

That sounds like a pretty solid time window. There should be significant work on it at the moment to be confident in announcing it at an E3. You don't do E3 and say "Oh this is coming out late next year" or "Expect this in two years."

I wonder if they wouldn't go a different direction with this when they do release it (2015 or later at the soonest) where Kratos enters a portal of some kind to transport him back in time or to another time. Either that or there would just be a new evil taking over the world. It just seems like they have done everything possible in the Kratos Universe. GOW: Ascension looked good but was only released to add the multiplayer access. It has nothing original about it but was still better than most games but was 6 to 7 out of 10 for a GOW game.

Honestly, they could do the exact same three games by going with Norse mythology. "Odin and the gods killed my wife and child with some long ass stuff! Here's my pity party, it's more epic in scale than Kratos'! Yes Loki, I'll assist you and the giants in storming Asgard! Is that Heimdall?" *killed with axes* "Ragnarok at your door motherf*****s!" *kicks in doors, kills everything, puts For Sale sign in Asgard's yard*

Agreed. I guess GOW is just one of games that succeeds despite the fact that it has a one dimensional boring character. However, it has top notch graphics and fun gameplay and always some interesting scenes.
I think I might break out the GOW 3 on my PS3. I only played through that game once but it was so much fun!

Yeah GOW could succeed on visuals and narration alone. The gameplay is good, but nothing special if you've played PS2 Rygar and Prince of Persia then smushed them together. However that's how you get a good flagship game. Keep it simple, keep it easy to get into without any complex control scheme, long tutorials, and all of that.
I would play the hell out of this GOW. I got tired by GOW by the second one since I knew what to expect, but just finished 3 to have the whole story. Could've saved a lot of eye rolling by reading a wiki. Breaking out with Viking Kratos and throwing 'bows with Thor would be epic.

Yeah that's the only reason I decided to finish playing GOW after awhile. GOW doesn't have to be Greek lore, there were many other cultures with a lot very similar folklore to run with.
