PS4 launch and tons of people waiting for days before then!

I love the line ups for these things. It makes me wonder what I'm really missing out on if I don't get the console when they do. Some say they've been there for days but I wonder how long they really waited for this launch. Apparently the console is the fastest selling of all time. I'm not sure if they are comparing that with the Xbox sales or just the Sony. Were you one of those who waited for the launch?

This was the first console launch that I've followed this closely, and no it really doesn't make me want to stand in line any more than before, specially after seeing this compiled footage from the Germany release.

Not that it looked very dangerous, but it still looks pretty chaotic to me, and especially since online purchasing is available nowadays, I have a hard time imagining why people would put themselves through such hardship.

Geez, people are insane when it comes to new things. They really shouldn't have launches like this, Sony did a good job, they shipped stuff to everyone instead of just putting it all at walmart and saying GO CRAZY LOLZ.

It's stupid insane how people get. On black friday, some guy got shot because he was carrying a tv to his house from the store. Human beings make me feel ashamed of being a human being.

The PS4 launch wasn't too bad, the most disappointing thing was that launch event. It did sell a ton, thankfully, cause I want all my buds to have one when I do and in the coming months we'll probably see more game releases and such.

The one in the greenish coat at 0:03...that's the rogue of your party. Get in, get the loot, get out, don't get hurt. 0:33 was like runner zombies breaking through the doors...they're even flailing their arms.

The launch lines have been pretty smooth from what I've heard. Very little violence, just people standing in line having fun where they can and getting their consoles. Although it's been years since I've lined up for something like this, and I don't do it anymore. As much as I want a PS4, I'm not risking pneumonia.
