PS4 OS based on FreeBSD. Does this mean more games can come to Linux?

I was wondering that since the PS4 OS is based off of FreeBSD, will this bring more games to Linux? I know BSD isn't exactly Unix/Linux, but it is very simular. I was just wondering that since it is so simular, and they each run off of OpenGL, would we have that possibility to see games come to Linux because of that.

I dont see why not, but it wouldnt be a direct result of the PS4 using it. if i understand correctly, the PS3 ran a similar OS. I think its just more that Linux is gaining a wider acceptance, so we will begin to see more linux games.

BSD is a bit different from everyday desktop Linux, even though they both use OpenGL for games. It could certainly have some impact, although I think something like SteamOS would be much more important, if it ever takes off. Plus PS4 exclusives are also exclusives for a reason, if they aren't going to port it to the Xbox, chances are it won't end up on PC either.
